Homeopathy For Pets: Yoga The Cat

At times, people ask me if in order for homeopathy to work, do you have to believe in it?

The answer, of course, is no, homeopathic remedies have been given to newborn babies and to animals, that have no idea what they have been given, and it is clear that it worked.

When Yoda was a kitten, he had huge ears, way too big for his little head, so we called him Yoda. As an adult, his ears were the right size, but his name stuck. Yoda was a very unusual cat; he would put his paws on your shoulders and lick your face like a dog. He jumped on the roof of the house during a lightning storm curious about the light.

One day there was an awful smell in the house. It was like rotten cheese of the already smelly kind. Eventually, I discovered that the smell came from Yoda’s ear. He was very upset about it, kept rubbing the ear, but it was pointless.

I am not a vet, but while we were students, we learned about this smell. We learned to observe with all our senses. In Yoda’s case, it was particularly important, as I couldn’t ask him questions! So, I knew what remedy Yoda needed right away.

I approached Yoda with a dropper and, of course, he did not know what it was and fussed a bit. But gentle opening his mouth, in went the remedy, and that was that.

A few hours later, I decided to give him another dose. As Yoda saw me approaching him, he opened his mouth wide… he had realized that whatever it was it was helping him.

It was clear that the remedy had worked. The smell was gone, and Yoda was happy doing those weird things that only Yoda could do.

The remedy was Silica. It has the ability to remove foreign objects from a body, any alive body, even a cat!

Yoda most likely had ear mites or an infection and the remedy helped him. It only took 3-4 hours to clear the condition completely.

WARNING, “Don’t try this at home” you need to know what to do.
